Applicants should be one of the following:
Educator – Specifically, educators involved in creative/tech education. Social X is intended for someone working in an educational role at a school, university, or higher education program. The applicant agrees to use the Social X account to support the educational development of students.
Social Enterprise – Specifically, social enterprise involved in creative/tech sectors that support social good projects and/or personal career development. Social X is intended for someone working in or on behalf of a social good program or institution. The applicant agrees to use the Social X account to support social good outcomes defined as something that benefits the largest number of people in the largest possible way, such as clean air, clean water, healthcare and literacy. A social enterprise is an organization that applies commercial strategies to maximize improvements in financial, social and environmental well-being—this may include maximizing social impact alongside profits for external shareholders.
Not-for-profit – Specifically, not-for-profits in creative/tech sectors that support social good projects and/or personal career development. Social X is intended for someone working in or on behalf of a social good program or institution. Not-for-profit describes a type of organization that does not earn profits for its owners. All of the money earned by or donated to a not-for-profit organization is used in pursuing the organization's objectives and keeping it running.
